Tim Shields, M.A., L.C.P.C.

Tim’s fundamental approach to therapy comes from a simple belief that change is possible. Tim believes that when clients truly feel understood and accepted they have opportunity to grow, heal, and transform. Regardless of whether someone is experiencing an unexpected challenge, wanting to improve a relationship, or navigating ordinary life stressors, therapy provides a safe space for gaining skills, confidence, and new perspectives.

“One of the things I love most about being a therapist is helping people connect with their resiliency. In the midst of facing various life struggles, I see tremendous strength in my clients. It is a privilege to help people discover their potential, build self-respect, and to watch them move forward with hope. The therapy process can ultimately lead to stability, greater fulfillment and a renewed sense of joy in life.”
